The clasp and the charms

How does the O-clasp work?

Every charm is fixed to the same oval spring-gate clasp, 13 × 7 mm. Press the gate inwards with a fingertip, hook it over a link or loop, and let go: the gate springs shut. It opens onto links, loops and rings up to 3 mm thick.

Which chains does it fit?

All OAKENVI base chains, bag chains, phone chains and earring hooks. It also fits most other chains and key rings with links up to 3 mm thick, but we can only promise the fit on our own carriers.

How many charms can I put on one chain?

Each chain’s page says how many charms it holds comfortably, for example up to seven on the Curb Chain Bracelet. The charm bar on our home page stops you when a chain is full.

What does “Ear-light” mean?

Charms of 3 g or less are marked Ear-light. They are comfortable on an ear hook. Heavier charms are better on bracelets, necklaces, bag chains and phone chains.

Can I take a charm off again?

Yes, as often as you like. That is the idea: move the same charms from your wrist to your bag or phone whenever you want.

Materials and safety

What are the charms made of?

The finish is a mirror-polished silver tone on a plated base metal, with glossy enamel for the colours. Jars, bottles, bulbs and screens are small glass domes. They are fashion jewellery: not solid silver, not sterling silver and not gold.

I have a nickel allergy. Can I wear them?

If you react to nickel or other metals, please email us before ordering and tell us which pieces you like. We will send you the material information for those pieces so you can decide.

Are the charms suitable for children?

No. Charms and clasps are small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years because of the choking hazard. Our products are jewellery for adults, not toys.

How do I look after them?

Keep them dry, take them off for swimming, showering and sport, and store them in their pouch. See Care & safety.

Prices, currencies and payment

Which currency will I pay in?

The currency of your delivery country: US dollars (USD) for the United States and Canada, British pounds (GBP) for the United Kingdom, euros (EUR) for the eurozone countries we deliver to, Danish kroner (DKK) for Denmark and Swedish kronor (SEK) for Sweden. Every price shows its currency code. You can switch the display currency in the menu; at checkout, the delivery country decides.

Are taxes included?

Our prices are final prices. Delivery is added at checkout. Import charges that your country may apply are explained on the Shipping page.

How can I pay?

The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by PCI DSS compliant payment providers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection; your card number is never stored on our servers. Your statement will show OAKENVI.

Do you have discount codes?

No. We do not run promotions, discount codes or countdown offers.

Delivery and returns

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

One flat rate per order, shown in your currency on the Shipping page. We dispatch within 1–3 business days.

Can I return something?

Yes. You can return unworn items within 30 days of delivery, and customers in the EU and UK also have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. Earring hooks can only be returned while their hygiene pouch is sealed. See Returns & Refunds or use Withdraw from contract here.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, free of charge until it has been dispatched. Email us with your order number or use the withdrawal form.
