Everyday care
- Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Take it off before swimming, showering, sport, cleaning or sleeping.
- Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Do not use jewellery dips, abrasive polish or ultrasonic cleaners: they can damage the plating and the enamel.
- Store each piece in its cotton pouch so charms do not scratch each other.
- Glass domes (jars, bottles, bulbs, screens) can break if knocked hard. Take charms with a glass dome off before sport.
The O-clasp
Open the gate with a fingertip; do not pull the gate outwards or prise it open with a tool. Check now and then that the gate springs fully shut. If it stops closing properly, stop wearing that charm and email us.
Finish
The finish is a mirror-polished silver tone on a plated base metal. Plating wears gradually with friction; how fast depends on how often and where a piece is worn. Bracelets that rub against a desk wear faster than necklaces or bag charms.
Metal allergies
If you react to nickel or other metals, email us before ordering and we will send you the material information for the pieces you like. If you notice redness or itching while wearing a piece, take it off.
Small parts and children
Warning: charms and clasps contain small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years: choking hazard. Keep spare charms and clasps away from small children and pets. Our products are jewellery, not toys.
Earring hooks
- For pierced ears only.
- Clean the hooks before first use and after wearing, for example with a cotton pad and a little alcohol-free cleanser, then dry them.
- Do not share earrings, and do not wear them in a fresh piercing.
